Governor Arnold I. Palacios recently proclaimed March as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. During the proclamation, he was joined by representatives of the CNMI Cancer Association, who highlighted the importance of colorectal health. Colorectal cancer is the 3rd leading cause of cancer deaths for Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
Governor Palacios encourages everyone to take proactive steps, such as maintaining a healthy lifestyle, getting regular screenings, and being vigilant in self-assessing for any unusual symptoms. He also reminded residents to prioritize their health and well-being by staying informed and proactive.
