๐Ÿ”ต Milton F. Coleman, Jr. for Preservation of Traditional Cultural Practices

The NMHC Board of Directors also presented a board resolution to the family of the late Ivan K. Propst. His son and the 23rd CNMI Legislatureโ€™s Floor Leader, Ed Propst, received the resolution on behalf of the family.

In his remarks, Governor Palacios urged those in attendance to promote the humanities in their households: โ€œEncourage your children to read, explore the arts, and engage in critical discussions. Attend lectures, exhibitions, performances, and other activities that celebrate the humanities.โ€

The governor emphasized that the humanities are not reserved exclusively for scholars, but something that we can participate in and incorporate into our everyday lives.
