CNMI’s resilience and determination was evident during a visit from a representative from the U.S. Department of Education.
U.S. Department of Education Senior Risk Consultant Christine Jackson met with Governor Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Governor David M. Apatang to discuss the progress of the CNMI’s educational system. Joining in on the meeting were representatives from the Northern Marianas College (NMC), the Northern Marianas Technical Institute (NMTech), and PSS.
Those in attendance were PSS interim Commissioner of Education Ms. Donna Flores, NMC President Dr. Galvin Deleon Guerrero, NMC Vice-President Mr. Frankie Eliptico, NMTech CEO Ms. Jodina Attao, Federal Programs Officer Ms. Jacqueline Che, and other PSS staff members.
