Apatang recently proclaimed April 2024 as National Library Workers Day and designated the entire week as National Library Week, with a special focus on April 22nd as National Library Outreach Day, recognizing the invaluable contributions of library workers and the importance of library outreach efforts in our communities.
Governor Palacios commended the dedication and hard work of library workers across the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, emphasizing their role in promoting literacy, education, and community engagement. He expressed gratitude to all library workers for their commitment to enriching the lives of residents and fostering a culture of learning and discovery.
