Standing in solidarity with survivors and advocates, Governor Arnold I. Palacios, Lt. Governor David M. Apatang, and the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence proclaimed April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Raising awareness, promoting prevention, and supporting survivors are critical in the fight against sexual assault. As part of his remarks, Governor Palacios encouraged all citizens to take a stand, speak out, and support initiatives aimed at ending violence in their communities.
