Governor Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Governor David M. Apatang announced a fifty-thousand-dollar contribution to Team Marianas in support of the 162-member delegation preparing to represent the Commonwealth at the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau.
They were joined by Northern Marianas Sports Association President Jerry Tan, fellow NMSA board members, and a group of athletes who will compete in various events at the regional games. Governor Palacios commended the athletes for their commitment and emphasized their role as ambassadors of the Commonwealth. Lt. Governor Apatang echoed these sentiments, recognizing the achievements of CNMI athletes and encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.
Both leaders concluded by encouraging the team to compete with pride, enjoy the journey, and make the most of the opportunity to represent the Marianas on the regional stage.
