With the safety and well-being of our children at the forefront, Governor Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Governor David M. Apatang proclaimed April as Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month.

This month serves as a reminder of our shared responsibility to protect, support, and nurture our children, ensuring they grow up in environments filled with love, care, and safety. In their remarks, both the Governor and Lt. Governor praised the unwavering commitment of child advocates, social workers, and community organizations who tirelessly work to make this mission a reality.

Empowering the Youth, Shaping the Future

Lieutenant Governor David M. Apatang, together with Delbert T. Pua, Special Assistant for the Office of Youth Affairs, recently proclaimed October 2024 as Youth Empowerment Month. The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
