CNMI DOL to hold another webinar on PUA and FPUC programs on Thursday

The CNMI Department of Labor (CNMI DOL) would like to inform the general public that it will hold a virtual webinar on the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) and the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. via Zoom and streamed live on the CNMI Office of the Governor Facebook page.

The meeting will take place virtually over Zoom spearheaded by CNMI DOL, joined by guest moderators Office of the Governor Press Secretary Kevin Bautista and Saipan Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Maxine Laszlo.

The virtual webinar will provide another step-by-step guidance on completing PUA & FPUC applications, as well as answer commonly asked questions regarding the PUA and FPUC portal and application process.

For individuals planning to join the Zoom Meeting, pre-registration for this meeting is required. Please pre-register at https://tinyurl.com/CNMIPUAWebinar2.

Registration to the Zoom Meeting is limited to the first 100 participants that are able to join. Therefore, CNMI DOL will be streaming this virtual conference live on Facebook through the Office of the Governor Facebook Page, and encourage both individuals to watch via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/GovernorCNMI/.

CNMI DOL upgraded its hiremarianas.com portal, a Virtual One-Stop System (VOS) used by DOL’s Workforce Investment Agency (WIA) to register, track, and manage its clients, and to incorporate the modules needed for PUA/FPUC functions. The system is used both regionally and nationally and has advanced security measures with a strong focus on data Confidentiality, Availability, and Integrity (CIA).

In the event that you may need alternative means of assistance, are not able to access hiremarianas.com or need more information, you can email info@puamarianas.com or call one of our PUA/FPUC hotline numbers:
