Child Care Providers Attend the Health and Safety Training on Prevention of Infectious Diseases

On Saturday, July 22, 2023, Evergreen Learning Coach, Russelle Mae Ignacio, conducted a two-hour (2) training on the Prevention of Infectious Diseases. Eleven (11) child care providers in Saipan attended this health and safety training via remote learning. 

This health safety training is required for all new providers and must be taken every three (3) years for ongoing providers. The Child Care Licensing Program (CCLP) and Caring for Our Children (CFOC) have very specific regulations that deal with sanitation, hygiene, and immunization. 

This training is made possible through funding from the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Child Care, CNMI CCDF Program under the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs.
