Memo – US and CNMI Flags Lowered to Half-Staff in Honor of the Life and Service of Honorable Herman R. Deleon Guerrero

In deep respect for the untimely passing of the Honorable Herman R. Deleon Guerrero, I hereby order that the flag of the Commonwealth, together with the flag of the United States of America, are to be flown at half-staff at the Juan Atalig Sablan Memorial Building and upon all public buildings, instrumentalities, and grounds within the Commonwealth until the sunset of the day of his interment.

PUA Applications Due Before March 27, 2023

The CNMI Department of Labor would like to notify the public that both Initial Applications and Weekly Certification Forms for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) Program will no longer be accepted by the Department effective March 27, 2023.

The Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs, in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), intends to solicit assistance at no cost from the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training Program for the following community projects:

Lieutenant Governor David M. Apatang, together with Delbert T. Pua, Special Assistant for the Office of Youth Affairs, recently proclaimed October 2024 as Youth Empowerment Month. The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
