“No pothole too deep, no road bump too high, and no challenge too great” – Route 323 Ribbon Cutting

“No pothole too deep, no road bump too high, and no challenge too great”

CNMI Governor Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Governor David M. Apatang gathered with Commonwealth Ports Authority (CPA) officials, Department of Public Works (DPW) and local dignitaries to cut the ribbon for Route 323, or Industrial Drive, last week. The road, which runs from Saipan Stevedore to the U.S. Army Reserve is now paved and pothole free.

In his remarks, Governor Palacios said that the completion of this road is just another testament of our Commonwealth’s determination to improve our island community and acknowledged the extensive collaboration that went into making the Route 323 project a reality.

Remarks were also given by Secretary of the Department of Public Works, Ray Yumul, and CPA Seaport Committee Chairman, Pete P. Reyes. Also in attendance were 23rd Legislature House Speaker Edmund Villagomez along with Representative Joel Camacho, Senator Celina Babauta and other dignitaries.
