DATE:           March 21, 2023

TO:                All Department and Activity Heads

FROM:         Governor

SUBJECT:    Administrative Leave

As Governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, I am honored to invite everyone of you to attend the upcoming Women’s Summit, on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe.

As we continue to strive for progress and gender equality in our society, we must create opportunities for women to gather and discuss issues that affect us. The Women’s Summit provides a platform to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and strengthen bonds as colleagues and advocates.

I understand the demands of your work as public servants and want to make it possible for you to participate in this important event. Therefore, I am granting administrative leave to CNMI government employees who wish to attend the Women’s Summit on March 31, 2023, from 7:30-11:30am.

I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to engage with your fellow women and contribute to advancing gender equality in our community. Your attendance at the Women’s Summit will be a valuable personal and professional experience. The link for registration is https://cnmiwomen.org/summit-sign-up.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to the CNMI government.

Regards,
