Yesterday, Governor Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Governor David M. Apatang joined key leaders in celebrating a milestone for economic growth and development in the CNMI during a special event marking the Sheraton franchise agreement.
In his remarks, Governor Palacios reflected on the challenges faced when the Hyatt announced its closure. But with progress and determination, that storm has passed, and a new opportunity begins as the property moves forward to become part of the Sheraton franchise.
The agreement was signed by David Hood, President of MB Capital, and Peter Gassner, Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific Development at Marriott International. The Sheraton Saipan is expected to fully transition by the end of the year.
