Governor Palacios meets with regional leaders at the 26th Micronesian Islands Forum

“We must keep our cultures strong, our values as people of Micronesia, and our friendships with each other”

CNMI Governor Arnold Palacios, last week, met with regional leaders from Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Nauru at the 26th Micronesian Islands Forum.  In his opening remarks, Governor Palacios highlighted the importance of implementing regional initiatives and leveraging technology to build stronger links across the region. He encouraged everyone to keep their cultures strong, values, and friendships with each other, and to work together to find solutions and navigate the path to a greener, more resilient future for all of Micronesia.

Empowering the Youth, Shaping the Future

Lieutenant Governor David M. Apatang, together with Delbert T. Pua, Special Assistant for the Office of Youth Affairs, recently proclaimed October 2024 as Youth Empowerment Month. The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
