Governor Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Governor David M. Apatang recently proclaimed July 16, 2024 as “CNMI Rural Transit Day.” They were joined by Special Assistant for Transportation Alfeda Camacho Maratita and members of the CNMI Office of Transit Authority (COTA).
In his remarks, Governor Palacios emphasized the crucial role that transit systems play in connecting communities, bolstering the economy, and enhancing everyone’s quality of life. Lt. Governor Apatang commended the COTA team members for their work and for the positive feedback they have been receiving from the community.
