5th Graders from WSR Sing Carols for Governor and Lt. Governor

The Office of the Governor and Lt. Governor recently welcomed a group of young, bright students of William S. Reyes Elementary School’s 5th-grade class, who were on a field trip to spread the joy of the holiday season by singing Christmas carols for the Governor, Lt. Governor and the staff at the Juan Atalig Memorial Building in Capitol Hill.

During their visit, the students sang four Christmas songs in Chamorro. The Senate President, Edith Deleon Guerrero, along with her staff, joined the Office of the Governor as the students sang. After the last song, the 5th graders were gifted with candy treats from Senate President Deleon Guerrero and donuts and water from Governor Palacios and Lt. Governor Apatang.

Governor Palacios and Lt. Governor Apatang expressed their appreciation for the visiting students and recognized their efforts in spreading the holiday spirit throughout our Commonwealth.
