Statement from Governor Torres and Lt. Governor Palacios on the passing of former Representative Peter Michael Pangelinan Tenorio

We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Representative and Congressional Office District Director Peter Michael Pangelinan Tenorio.

We express our heartfelt condolences to his wife Jackie, their children, his mother Sophie, and their entire family.

Mike was a very good man, who was humble, generous, and giving of his time to help many in our community. He is an accomplished businessman and leader within our community.

We thank him for his service as an elected leader and his work through our Congressional Office.

He is a devoted public servant, and he and his good work will surely be missed by the many people in our community who have come to know him.

Lieutenant Governor David M. Apatang, together with Delbert T. Pua, Special Assistant for the Office of Youth Affairs, recently proclaimed October 2024 as Youth Empowerment Month. The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
