Governor Ralph DLG. Torres on Thursday issued the following statement on the Philippines’ recent 7.0 magnitude earthquake.
“On behalf of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, I extend my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of those who have passed from this devastating earthquake.”
“I also send my thoughts and prayers for the recovery of all those who have been injured and impacted by this disaster, as well as to our CNMI community who have family and friends in the Philippines facing the earthquake’s aftermath.”
