PUA applications only available at CNMI DOL Office in Capitol Hill

JKPL no longer an application center for PUA

The CNMI Department of Labor (DOL) would like to inform the business community, government agencies and the general public that, effective immediately, the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library will no longer be an application center for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) Program.

All PUA applications and inquiries will be handled directly by CNMI DOL staff.

Copies of the PUA applications may be picked up from the DOL Office in Capitol Hill, building #1334, located on Ascension Drive.  The DOL office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.  To prevent the spread of COVID-19, all visitors to the DOL office are required to wear a facemask and to keep your distance as instructed by DOL staff.

CNMI DOL upgraded its hiremarianas.com portal, a Virtual One-Stop System (VOS) used by DOL’s Workforce Investment Agency (WIA) to register, track, and manage its clients, to incorporate the modules needed for PUA/FPUC functions. The system is used both regionally and nationally and has advanced security measures with a strong focus on date Confidentiality, Availability, and Integrity (CIA).

In the event that you may need alternative means of assistance, and are not able to access hiremarianas.com or need more information, you can email info@puamarianas.com or call one of the PUA/FPUC hotline numbers:
