Recent travelers reminded to make appointment date for testing after arrival

The Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force and the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) would like to remind travelers (CNMI residents) that arrived on Saturday, June 20, 2020 to get their specimen collected on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Kanoa Resort Saipan between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

CHCC Issues Guidance for Restaurants/Bars at Level BLUE

On Monday, June 15, 2020, in response to Governor Ralph DLG. Torres’s latest amendment to the CNMI COVID-19 Emergency Directives, the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) Environmental Health and Disease Prevention (EHDP), has transitioned from operating under Community Vulnerability Level YELLOW to Community Vulnerability Level BLUE, which allows restaurants and bars to serve dine-in customers at 50% of originally permitted occupancy limit in accordance with supplemental regulatory guidance from the CHCC.

COVID-19 Public Guidance: CNMI now on Community Vulnerability Level BLUE

In line with approved guidance by the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) and community-based testing data by the Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force, Governor Ralph DLG. Torres announced on Monday that the CNMI can now responsibly initiate the next phase in the implementation of its Economic Recovery Plan from Community Vulnerability Level “YELLOW” to “BLUE.”

The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
