New hours of operation for PUA/FPUC program

The CNMI Department of Labor (CNMI DOL) announce that starting Monday, July 27, 2020, the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) Program will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, at Building #1334 in Capitol Hill, Saipan.

The CNMI DOL PUA Program is changing its hours to allow for more time spent on processing claims for payment of benefits to ensure expedient disbursement of approved unemployment benefits.

Services

CNMI DOL will continue to provide the same services it has provided for the past month.

This includes:

            (1) Disseminating and receiving initial and weekly applications.

            (2) Providing general assistance with filling out applications.

            (3) Providing claims information (e.g., status of claims).

            (4) Answering general inquiries about the program (e.g., eligibility requirements).
