Managaha and the Grotto remain closed during the COVID-19 pandemic

In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the Marianas, the Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force would like to remind the general public that Managaha Island and the Grotto remain closed until further notice, pursuant to Directive 14 of the CNMI COVID-19 Emergency Directives of 2020.

All other public beaches and pathways are open for individual use of exercise and wellness, including swimming and shoreline fishing.

The Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force and the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) encourage our residents to continue good hygiene, practice social distancing, avoid social gatherings of more than 10 people, and avoid unnecessary travel to help prevent the spread of this deadly illness.
