Governor Ralph DLG. Torres announced on Wednesday that CNMI Government employees affected by the COVID-19 pandemic are officially eligible for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) and the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality (BECQ) Environmental Surveillance Laboratory would like to inform all Public Water System (PWS) clients that it will be accepting water samples for analysis starting April 20, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday to Wednesday.

As of April 13, 2020, over 1.91 million cases of COVID-19 have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories, with major outbreaks in mainland China, Europe, Iran, South Korea, and the United States among others. More than 118,000 people have died from the disease.
