In line with approved guidance by the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC) and community-based testing data by the Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force, Governor Ralph DLG. Torres announced on Monday that the CNMI can now responsibly initiate the next phase in the implementation of its Economic Recovery Plan from Community Vulnerability Level “RED” to “YELLOW.”
Governor Ralph DLG. Torres and Lt. Governor Arnold I. Palacios on Thursday proclaimed CNMI Armed Forces Day to be observed on every fourth Friday of May in the Commonwealth.
Governor Ralph DLG. Torres announced on Saturday that the US Department of Labor (USDOL) Employment and Training Administration has approved the CNMI’s implementation plan for the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) and Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) programs.

Lieutenant Governor David M. Apatang, together with Delbert T. Pua, Special Assistant for the Office of Youth Affairs, recently proclaimed October 2024 as Youth Empowerment Month. The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
