DPL announces 3rd Annual Scholarship Essay Contest

The Department of Public Lands (DPL) is holding its 3rd Annual Essay Contest for eligible students taking full-time college or trade school courses. Essays are due on September 15, 2022, by 4:00 p.m., CHST.

This year’s essay question is: “Should Article 12 be maintained, abolished or amended and why?”

Funding for this program is made possible through public benefit contributions from public land leases. For application and more information, visit DPL’s website at www.dpl.gov.mp.

Lieutenant Governor David M. Apatang, together with Delbert T. Pua, Special Assistant for the Office of Youth Affairs, recently proclaimed October 2024 as Youth Empowerment Month. The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
