Chief of Staff Wil Castro’s Statement on BOOST Program Subpeona

CNMI Office of the Governor Chief of Staff Wil Castro on Wednesday released a statement regarding the 22nd House of Representatives’ subpoena relating to the Building Optimism, Opportunity and Stability Together (BOOST) program. 

“Thank you for the extension to provide supplemental information to my December 02, 2022, response.”

“I was in receipt of a copy of the Bank of Saipan’s response via email today, December 07, 2022, at approximately 8:42am. I opened the file and requested for an extension to 12pm today. The request was granted.” 

“Separate and apart from information the Bank of Saipan provided, in good faith and in the spirit of cooperation I attached copies of emails relative to the administration of the program as early as January of 2022. I am more than willing to answer any questions in this regard,” said Chief of Staff Castro.
