CCDF CNMI Brain Builders Café promotes Science of Early Learning Initiative

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, the Science of Early Learning (SOEL)-CNMI Brain Builders™ Team from Evergreen Learning, conducted its third CNMI Brain Builders Café with parents and community members. The CNMI Brain Builders™ Café provides parents and community members an opportunity to obtain information about the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Program, Science of Early Learning Initiative.

The Brain Builders™ Café was conducted at Rendezvous Restaurant in Middle Road, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. and facilitated by Melissa Palacios, SOEL Coordinator. This café session was offered to parents and community members in the Chalan Kiya, Chalan Laulau, and San Jose area. The focus of this round of Café session was centered around brain building basics, the stages of brain development, and the life skills that brain building strategies support and strengthen.

In partnership with the DCCA Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Program, Evergreen Learning calls upon parents, guardians, caregivers, teachers, and anyone who provides services or care for children ages 0-5 to join the effort in elevating the importance of the first five years of children’s growth and development. Together, let’s build our children’s brains!
