For their outstanding contributions to the humanities in the CNMI, the Northern Marianas Humanities Council, along with its Director Leo Pangelinan, Governor Arnold I. Palacios, and Lt. Governor David M. Apatang recently recognized six individuals during the annual Governor’s Humanities Awards event. 

Pacific Healthcare Leaders Meet in the CNMI

Healthcare leaders and stakeholders continue to tackle healthcare issues in the Pacific. In his welcoming remarks at the 73rd Pacific Island Health Officers Association (PIHOA) Leadership Engagement at the Crowne Plaza’s Hibiscus Hall, Governor Arnold I. Palacios commended healthcare officials for their unwavering commitment to collaboratively improve healthcare systems across the Pacific region.

Empowering the Youth, Shaping the Future

Lieutenant Governor David M. Apatang, together with Delbert T. Pua, Special Assistant for the Office of Youth Affairs, recently proclaimed October 2024 as Youth Empowerment Month. The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
