Rice distribution set for tomorrow, November 3, 2022

The CNMI Office of the Governor, through the Office of Grants Management and State Clearinghouse (OGM-SC), will be giving out 50 pounds of short or long grain rice sacks this Thursday, November 3, 2022 in a drive-thru event for Saipan residential households.

Governor Ralph DLG. Torres with CNMI Secretary of Finance David DLG. Atalig last Friday met with Brandy Untalan, the Customer Service Director representing the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service, and Customer Accounts & Stakeholder Engagement Division in Guam. 

CCDF Child Care Providers attend Introduction to ASQ-3 Training

On Saturday, October 29, 2022, twenty child care providers from Saipan and Tinian participated in a training on Introduction to Ages and Stages Questionnaires – 3rd Edition. The training was facilitated by Grace Mallari, Evergreen Learning Training and Development Specialist, together with Erlaine Evangelista, Evergreen Learning Coach. This training session was held at Evergreen Learning Training Center in Chalan Kanoa. 

Child Care Providers Complete Brain Builders Training Modules

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, a total of 20 participants from different Child Care Centers completed a series of trainings, consisting of four Brain Builders Modules. The four Brain Builders Training Modules included Brain Basics, Cognitive Development and the Stages of Growth, Executive Functions, and Social-Emotional Development.

Empowering the Youth, Shaping the Future

Lieutenant Governor David M. Apatang, together with Delbert T. Pua, Special Assistant for the Office of Youth Affairs, recently proclaimed October 2024 as Youth Empowerment Month. The proclamation was made in the presence of members of the Legislature, Cabinet officials, and community partners, all united in their commitment to improving the lives of our youth.
