In the spirit of giving thanks, I am hereby authorizing all non-critical employees of the Commonwealth’s departments and agencies to take Administrative Leave at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 and for all of Friday, November 26, 2021.
Governor Ralph DLG. Torres, through the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation (CUC) and the Northern Marianas Housing Corporation (NMHC), announces the beginning of the initial phase of three (3) water tank replacement projects for the islands of Saipan and Tinian as part of resiliency efforts in the event of a major disaster, as well as to provide safe drinking and running water for residents.
Governor Ralph DLG. Torres, through the CNMI Office of the Governor and the CNMI Office of Veterans Affairs, invites all veterans residing on Saipan to a series of veteran town hall meetings to discuss issues of concern for veterans and military families.
Please be advised that the Administrative Leave Memorandum dated December 29, 2022 regarding Administrative Leave on December 30, 2022 and numbered GOV22-264 is to be recalled and disregarded, effective immediately.
