The Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force would like to announce that the CNMI Community-Based Testing Initiative will be temporarily suspended starting tomorrow, May 8, 2020 through Sunday, May 10, 2020. 

The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality (BECQ) analyzed marine water samples collected from Rota’s recreational beaches and storm drainages this week. 

The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality (BECQ) analyzed water samples collected from Saipan’s east and south recreational beaches this week. Samples collected from the following locations contained excessive concentrations of fecal indicator bacteria (enterococci) that exceeded the CNMI Marine Water Quality Standards.
