Governor Ralph DLG. Torres recently followed up on his request to the National Guard Bureau to establish a National Guard unit in the CNMI, especially as additional support is needed in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Governor Ralph DLG. Torres announced on Saturday that the US Department of Labor (USDOL) Employment and Training Administration (ETA) has confirmed that the CNMI is eligible for the Federal Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) program, in addition to the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program.
